Come festive season and Hyde Park in London transforms into a winter wonderland. With rides, Bavarian-style Christmas chalets, the Bavarian beer village, music, street food and dancing, it’s festive and tremendous fun. It’s no wonder that the beer tent is very popular here! My husband and I had a wonderful time here – the vibe is fantastic and the energy is simply contagious.

We also like Winter Wonderland for its sustainability measures – they minimise impact on the local communities through working in conjunction with The Historic Royal Palaces, Royal Parks and Local Councils and use local staff and crew where possible and encourage traders and operators to do the same.

Winter Wonderland runs until January 3, 2016 and is open from 10 am – 10 pm. A look at the festivities in a few lovely pictures. London is magical in the holiday season and well worth putting up with the cold!
