Mykonos, also known as ‘The Island of Winds’, soars on the popularity charts for travel lovers for its fabled natural beauty. In this melee of eager party-hard tourists, you need a sanctuary and Bill & Coo is the perfect retreat to enjoy Mykonos in style! With staggering views and a sublime infinity pool, the boutique Mykonos hotel is a gorgeous choice for discerning travellers.
Mykonos attracts the posh and the well heeled, and Bill & Coo is all about sheer luxury and privacy. My husband and I found that this is the perfect spot to relax and rejuvenate while enjoying the famous Greek hospitality. When you travel, you want to feel welcomed, and the boutique hotel’s team exceeded all our hospitality expectations with their sheer attention to detail to make us feel right at home.

Location, location, location
Bill & Coo is neatly tucked away on a hilltop in Megali Ammos and a short stroll to Mykonos town. This is incredibly convenient for transport links, restaurants, nightlife and shopping – every amenity is within easy reach. Though we found it hard to tear ourselves away from the view from our balcony, the famous Mykonos sunset was pretty spectacular from our vantage point!
From Bill & Coo, we walked to Megali Ammos beach and explored sights like the famous Mykonos windmills and Little Venice on foot. These tourist spots can get pretty busy, so it was always a huge relief for us to get back to our slice of serenity. It was sheer indulgence but then you get used to being pampered in this boutique retreat very soon!

Design: A whitewashed tranquil retreat
In keeping with the traditional Cyclades architecture so prevalent in Mykonos, British interior designers K-studio have maintained the character of the hotel while seamlessly blending in a modern touch. Each of the 30 suites has a mobile phone and an iPad to control the lighting and music. Mood set, the spacious room is the perfect place for an afternoon snooze while the sun blazes overhead.
You can choose a room that has its own private Jacuzzi or a private pool. But with the idyllic infinity pool overlooking the Aegean waters, we loved having our own Jacuzzi. After all, this was all about rediscovering romance!
Where modern and traditional meet

The architects have achieved a fine balancing act with the aesthetics – traditional architecture and modern design marry well together with neutral shades, wooden beams and luxurious handmade furniture. The materials are locally sourced, highlighting the Grecian authenticity of the design.
The breakfast is sumptuous and the ingredients are locally sourced, while the Gourmet restaurant offers a Mediterranean-cuisine inspired menu – best of all, the food comes with a stunning sea view. Finally, Bill & Coo has mastered the finely tuned art of Greek hospitality – it’s all about feeling loved up!
This is true Mediterranean romance – the sense of seclusion and privacy lends itself to an atmospheric Mykonos holiday to remember!
