Nearly untouched by man, the Balmaceda and Serrano Glaciers are part of the southern ice fields. They can be found in the southern part of Torres del Paine National Park in Chilean Patagonia. Sail through the Ultima Esperanza Fjord from Puerto Natales on this Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier Tour – we’ve been on this boat trip, and it’s a once-in-a-lifetime bucketlist experience.
Surrounded by pine trees, Serrano Glacier transcends deeply into a lagoon and even changes color depending on the lighting! The astonishing Balmaceda glacier is found in Bernardo O’Higgins National Park. Experience these stunning formations while they still exist and enjoy the sight of wildlife and unique flora of the area.
You can observe native wildlife, visit the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, and enjoy a delicious Whiskey with millennial ice. The Balmaceda and Serrano Glacier Tour ends with a typical lamb barbecue in Estancia Perales (vegetarian meal option also offered).
