This stunning new bridge in Vietnam will make you feel like you’re walking through the hands of the gods. This has attracted loads of travel and selfie lovers to the Ba Na Hills near Danang in central Vietnam – for it does make for a striking image.
TA Landscape Architecture, Vu Viet Anh has constructed the 150-m long bridge which stands 1400 metres above sea level. The area already attracts travel enthusiasts for its cable car, replica French medieval village and landscaped gardens.
Cau Vang (translated as ‘gold bridge’) opened to the public in June and has already been a sensation on social media. This is not enough for the architect – there are also plans for a silver bridge made to look like a god’s strand of hair that will connect to the Vietnam Golden Bridge in the Ba Na Hills.
The idea was to create a walkway in the sky and it offers spectacular views of Ba Na Mountains. It also creates magic with colour – the stone grey hands hold up the golden bridge and purple Lobelia Chrysanthemum have been planted to add to the charm.
Ba Na Hills is a mountaintop resort complex that has gained a lot of popularity for people attracted to Vietnam’s fascinating cultural scene, attractions, food experiences and beaches.
